To enter the Contest, you must visit www.MasterComboChallenge.com (the “Website”) during the Promotion Period, click on “Enter #LockinaLaptop Contest”, and follow the on-screen instructions to: (a) enter your email address; (b) register with Sponsor by completing all required fields; (c) electronically agree and accept these Rules; and, (d) press “submit”. Before pressing Submit, you will also have the opportunity to check the “Opt-In for Daily Email” box. By checking this box you agree to receive daily email reminders about the Promotion, including entry deadlines for the Sweepstakes and the Contest. Returning participants will not have to re-enter their information, as their email address will be recognized. Once the registration has been submitted, you will be led to the Contest entry page where you can click “Enter” to upload and submit a photo into the Contest (a “Photo Entry” or “Contest Entry”). Once you have uploaded and submitted a Photo Entry you will be considered a Contest Entrant (“Contest Entrant”). Photo Entry requirements as follows:
Content of Photo Entry: To be valid and eligible, Photo Entries must adhere to the requirements and limitations set forth in this section. Each Photo Entry shall consist of one (1) photo taken by the Entrant. Each Photo Entry shall contain the image of at least one Master Lock lock being used in the most unique and creative indoor location Entrant has ever used, or could ever use, their Master Lock lock in. For purposes of this Contest, an Entrant may use a real Master Lock lock, or the image of a Master Lock lock; an Entrant need not purchase a Master Lock lock in order to enter or win. Photo Entries must be submitted in .jpg files no larger than 1Mb (one Megabyte). There is no limit to how many times an Entrant may enter a Photo Entry during the Promotion Period, provided each Photo Entry is different and distinct from any prior Photo Entry; an Entrant may not use the same photo for more than one (1) Photo Entry.
The following is a list of prohibited content: obscene, lewd, offensive content; content not suitable for certain ages; commercial content; content previously published or entered into this or another Contest; and third party content (e.g. any copyrighted material, third party trademarks, and/or names/likenesses of third parties). The Promotional Parties reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify or refuse to post an entry at any time. Photo Entries not adhering to these guidelines and restrictions will be considered ineligible, will be disqualified from the Contest, and will be destroyed. Please allow at least seventy-two (72) hours for Photo Entries to be available for viewing on the Website. For a description of Contest winner determination and notification see paragraph titled “Contest” under Section 4 below.
General Contest Entry Considerations: Each Contest Entry must be made by an individual person; Photo Entries must be the sole creation of the photographer. Each Entry may not have won previous awards, may not have been published previously, and must not be awaiting publication or consideration in another contest. Additionally, the photo must be suitable for all ages, not obscene or indecent. Promotion Parties, at their sole discretion, retain the right to dismiss any photos that do not adhere to the terms under these Official Rules. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. The potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Incomplete, unreadable, or unintelligible entries will be disqualified. If Entrant is considered a minor in his/her state or province of residence, Entrant will receive permission from his/her parent/legal guardian. Entrants must provide all information requested to be eligible to win.
Contest: One (1) Contest winner will be selected (“Grand Prize Winner”) from among all eligible Photo Entries. Photo Entries will be judged based on the following criteria: a) Creativity— an Entrant’s novel and distinct use of the materials, props, and Master Lock lock; b) Uniqueness— originality and rareness as compared to other Photo Entries, including the option to artificially enhance or modify their photographs through the use of photograph enhancement applications or software; and, c) Content— all Photo Entries must contain the image of at least one (1) Master Lock lock (as described above) being used in the most unique and creative way in an indoor space.
Photo Entries will be judged by a judging panel review (“Judging Panel Review”). The Judging Panel Review will be conducted by a judging panel (the “Judging Panel”), which will consist of a group of judges to be picked by the Promotion Parties at their sole discretion. The Judging Panel will apply a set of judging criteria (the “Judging Criteria,” as defined hereafter) to select the winning Photo Entry. The Judging Criteria will be comprised of the following: ten (10) points awarded for creativity, ten points awarded for uniqueness, and ten points awarded for content. The Photo Entry with the highest final score (the “Final Score”) as determined by the Judging Panel using the above-mentioned Judging Criteria, will be selected as the Grand Prize Winner. The Judging Panel will judge the Photo Entries based on the above-mentioned criteria. Judging Panel Review will take place within five (5) days of the End Date of the Promotion Period, or as soon thereafter as reasonably practicable. In the event of a tie, the tied Photo Entries will be re-evaluated against each other by the Judging Panel based on the above-mentioned criteria until the tie is broken.
Daily Sweepstakes Prizes: Eighty-two (82) Daily Sweepstakes Prizes, each consisting of:
(i) one (1) USD $25 Visa® gift card, with an Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of twenty-five dollars (USD $25.00);
(ii) one (1) Master Lock Speed Dial™, with an ARV of nine dollars ($9.00); and
(iii) one (1) Master Lock dialSpeed™ Lock, with an ARV of twenty-five dollars (USD $25).
Promotion Parties shall select models/colors of prizes at their sole discretion. ARV of each Daily Sweepstakes Prize: fifty-nine dollars (USD$59.00).
Weekly Sweepstakes Prizes: Twelve (12) Weekly Sweepstakes Prizes, each consisting of:
(i) one (1) set of high-end ear buds, with an ARV of one hundred dollars (USD $100.00);
(ii) one (1) USD $100 Visa® gift card, with an ARV of one hundred dollars (USD $100.00);
(iii) one (1) Master Lock Speed Dial™, with an ARV of nine dollars (USD $9.00); and
(iv) one (1) Master Lock dialSpeed™ Lock, with an ARV of twenty-five dollars (USD $25.00).
Promotion Parties shall select models/colors of prizes at their sole discretion. ARV of each Weekly Sweepstakes Prize: two hundred thirty-four dollars (USD $234.00).
Total ARV of all Promotion prizes: nine thousand five hundred ninety-eight dollars (USD $9,598).
