ENTRY: All entrants must submit a photograph of a heritage recipe and an explanation of why it is important and how they have reinvented it. [The digital image file of any entry must be submitted in JPEG format, of high resolution, and be no larger than four megabytes (4 MB) in size.]

One entry per person; multiple entries will be disqualified.

JUDGING: A panel of judges consisting of SAVEUR editors will select the winning entry based equally upon the criteria of originality, creativity, backstory, and recipe.

ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: Trip for two (2) to France, includes roundtrip airfare for two (2) persons, and four (4) nights, five (5) days at a selected hotel. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $4,500.

Potential winners will be notified by November 15, 2013.
