The friend or family member must be a U.S. or Canadian (excluding Quebec) resident who at time of Entry and prize award (if applicable) is currently residing in the U.S. or Canada and who is the age of majority in the state/province in which he/she resides.

 Limit one Entry per person

 Judging: Each submitted essay will be judged by a panel of Sponsor-selected judges to determine the Grand Prize winner, based on the following judging criteria: Most Compelling Story (30%); Enthusiasm (25%); Creativity (25%); and Relevance to Theme (20%). In the event of a tie, tied Entries will be re-judged by the judges based solely on Most Compelling Story.

 One (1) Grand Prize: The friend or family member who is the subject of the winning essay will win $10,000, awarded in the form of a check
