Beginning 10/7/13 through 11/17/13, Marlboro will be presenting six (6) separate weekly contests (each a “Contest”). A new Contest will be posted atwww.marlboro.co
Contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are smokers 21 years of age or older. Void where prohibited by law.

WEEK 1: This Week‘s Challenge: Think your town lives up to outlasting the Biggest Night of the Year? Show or tell us where in your neighborhood you‘d take the Flavor Makers for an epic night out.
The first 5,000 Entries received will be judged. A random drawing will be conducted from among all remaining Entries received to select 1,000 additional Entries to be judged. A maximum of 6,000 total Entries will be judged with a minimum of 350 Entries judged in each of the three Entry Categories (providing a sufficient number of Entries are received in each Entry Category). Eligible Entries will be judged to determine the top 10 Entries per Entry Category, by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. The top 10 Entries per Entry Category will then be judged by a panel of Presenter‘s representatives, under the supervision of D.L. Blair, Inc., to determine one Grand Prize VIP Vegas Trip winner per Entry Category. All judging will be based on the following criteria: Originality & Creativity – 50%; Appropriateness to Challenge – 35%; Sincerity – 15%. In the event of a tie, tied Entries will be rejudged based on “Originality & Creativity” to determine the winner(s).
PRIZES: (3) Grand Prize VIP Vegas Trips (one per Entry Category): a VIP Vegas Trip prize consisting of a 3-day/2-night trip for winner and one traveling companion to Las Vegas, NV, to participate in a VIP Vegas experience on 12/21/13 (departing 12/20/13; returning 12/22/13). Trip includes round-trip first-class air transportation from the commercial airport nearest winner’s and traveling companion’s residences within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, luxury hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy), ground transfers to/from winner’s and traveling companion’s home/airport(s), and ground transfers to/from airport/hotel in Las Vegas, access for winner and traveling companion to a variety of Presenter-planned VIP Vegas experience activities on 12/21/13. VIP Vegas experience activities include a dinner, a VIP Club experience and other activities. Winner will have access to a pre-trip travel concierge (during specified hours) to help plan travel and answer questions relating to the VIP Vegas experience. Winner will also receive $1,300 awarded in the form of gift card(s)/cash card(s), a check in the amount of $5,000.00 and a smartphone with 3 months of service, including unlimited data. ARV: $20,350 each. In the event that the winner travels without a companion, the ARV of the Grand Prize is $15,500 and the difference will not be awarded. Trip must be taken on dates specified by Presenter. If winner cannot travel on date specified or declines the trip, prize (including the cash portion of the prize) will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate will be selected, time permitting.
2013 Marlboro “Biggest Night of the Year” In-Bar Game
Beginning 10/7/13 through 11/17/13 (the “Promotion Period”), Marlboro will be presenting six (6) separate weekly instant win games (each a “Game”) at participating on-premise retail establishments within the 50 U.S. (excluding MA & MI) and the District of Columbia. In each participating retail establishment, Official Game Pieces will be distributed during the Promotion Period, while supplies last.
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are smokers 21 years of age or older. Void in and to residents of MA, MI and where prohibited by law. To qualify to participate in the Game, you will be required to present sufficient proof of age, i.e., a valid government-issued photo ID bearing your complete name, address, date of birth and signature (“GIID”) to the Marlboro representative. You will be required to attest that you are a smoker, 21 years of age or older. Your GIID will be scanned on a data collection device (“DCD”). You will not be qualified to participate in the Game until the Marlboro representative verifies and scans your GIID and you complete the qualification process.
Any person who has been convicted of a felony, is the subject of a pending arrest warrant, is the subject of a pending criminal trial or sentencing, is on criminal probation, or has been convicted of a misdemeanor or any offense involving (a) any crime against a person, including any crime of violence or threatened violence, domestic violence or sexual offense, (b) theft, (c) robbery, (d) burglary, (e) fraud, (f) forgery, (g) manufacture, use and/or distribution of controlled substances or (h) any crime against public order, including disorderly conduct or public indecency, or is a habitual offender with three or more misdemeanor or summary-type offense convictions is not eligible to win a VIP Vegas Trip. Potential VIP Vegas Trip Winners must be physically able to participate in the Vegas VIP Experience activities without endangering their own safety or that of others participating in the activities, as determined by Presenter in its sole discretion. Presenter reserves the right to require that potential VIP Vegas Trip Winners complete a Medical Questionnaire and Liability Release as a condition of participation. Presenter will review the responses from potential VIP Vegas Trip winners with a licensed physician and determine in his/her sole discretion whether potential VIP Vegas Trip Winners are capable of meeting the physical demands required to travel and participate in the activities without putting the potential winner’s health or safety (or the health or safety of others) at risk. In the event a potential VIP Vegas Trip Winner is deemed ineligible to participate for any reason, he/she will be disqualified. Presenter’s decisions are final. VIP Vegas Trip prize award is contingent upon winner meeting all eligibility requirements.

HERE’S HOW TO PLAY: Once qualified, you will be eligible to participate in the Game. You will receive an Official Game Piece, while supplies last. Present your Game Piece to the Marlboro representative who will scan your Game Piece with the DCD, to reveal an Official Game Message. If the Game Message reveals the word(s) “VIP Vegas Trip,” “Zippo Lighter,” or “Sunglasses,” you are a potential winner of the prize specified, subject to verification of eligibility, including completion of a Declaration of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form for potential VIP Vegas Trip winners, as indicated in Rule 3 below. If your Game Message reveals any other message, or does not contain a message, you are not eligible to claim an instant win prize. All prizes must be claimed at the conclusion of the interaction; UNCLAIMED AND UNDISTRIBUTED PRIZES WILL NOT BE AWARDED. Limit one Game Piece per person per retail establishment per day.
