Submit an original essay (“Essay”) nominating a person who makes your morning happy
All eligible entries received during the Entry Period will be judged to determine three (3) potential winners (each a “Potential Winning Entry”; collectively the “Potential Winning Entry”) by a Sponsor-selected panel of experts (the “Judges”). Judging will be based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”):
A. Relevance of the Essay to the Contest theme – (25%; up to 25 points)
B. Why is this person extraordinary and how does she or he go above and beyond? (50%; maximum score of 50 points)
C. How persuasive is the Essay in expressing why the Nominee has a positive impact on you. (25%; maximum score of 25 points)
In the event of a tie, such tied Entries will be broken in favor of the highest score for Judging Criteria “B” (i.e. uniqueness of the reason Nominee makes your morning happy), and, if necessary, then in favor of the highest score for Judging Criteria “C”
CONTEST PRIZES: All contest prizes will be awarded in the form of a check.
Nominee Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize awarded to Nominee named in the Essay with the highest score. Nominee Grand Prize winner will receive Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00).
Nominator Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize awarded to the Nominator/Entrant of the Essay with the highest score. Nominator Grand Prize winner will receive Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00)
Nominee Second Prize: One (1) Second Prize awarded to Nominee named in the Essay with the second highest score. Nominee Second Prize winner will receive Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00).
Nominator Second Prize: One (1) Second Prize awarded to the Nominator/Entrant of the Essay with the second highest score. Nominator Second Prize winner will receive Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00)
Nominee Third Prize: One (1) Third Prize awarded to Nominee named in the Essay with the third highest score. Nominee Third Prize winner will receive Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).
Nominator Third Prize: One (1) Third Prize awarded to the Nominator/Entrant of the Essay with the third highest score. Nominator Third Prize winner will receive One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)
Limit one (1) Nominee prize per person. Limit one (1) Entrant/Nominator prize per person.
A total of eight (8) random drawings (one drawing per Week) will be conducted during the Entry Period. Within three (3) days of the end of each Week during the Entry Period, a random drawing will be conducted to select six (6) winners from among all eligible entries received during the previous Week
SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE/DRAWING: Six (6) prizes per Drawing Period (48 Total prizes) One (1) year supply of Nutella hazelnut spread awarded in the form of two (2) cases of fifteen (15) 13 oz. jars (ARV: $128 each; Total ARV $6,144).
