Grand Prize: (1 winner) round trip coach airfare from the major U.S. metropolitan airport nearest the winner’s residence (as determined by the Sponsor) to and from San Jose, Costa Rica, the use of a full-size rental car for the duration of the stay in Costa Rica, seven nights standard hotel accommodation (based on double occupancy) at the Xandari Resort of Sponsor’s choice, an escorted tour of a Chiquita Plantation and the Nogal Rainforest project, and one $800 travel allowance. The trip must be completed within one year of prize award; travel must be scheduled a minimum of four weeks in advance of travel and blackout dates and travel restrictions apply. If fewer than four people take the trip there is no reimbursement for any unused portion of the Trip Prize. Trip Prize winner and traveling companions must travel on the same itinerary. The Trip Prize winner or one of his/her traveling companions must be (25) years of age or older and hold a valid US drivers license to make use of the rental car portion of the Trip Prize. If winner or his/her traveling companion(s) cannot use the rental car for ground transportation, Sponsor, in its sole discretion will determine an alternate substitution for this portion of the Trip Prize, not to exceed $800 in value. Sponsor has no obligation for compensation or reimbursement of any kind if the Trip Prize winner and his/her traveling companion(s) have accepted a Trip Prize and cannot take or complete the Trip Prize for any reason. Trip Prize winner and his/her traveling companion are responsible for securing passports and any documentation needed for international travel. Trip Prize winner is NOT required to select individuals to whom he/she sent referral emails as traveling companions on the Trip Prize. Trip Prize winner will have the option of the accepting the Trip Prize as described or a one-time cash payment by check of $5,000. (ARV $8500, or $5,000 if cash option is taken)
