GRAND PRIZES: Three randomly selected entrants will receive one “Scout” by Hennessy Hammock ($100) and a copy of Hansen’s book, The Ultimate Hang. The “Scout” hammock comes with mosquito netting, a detachable rain fly, support ropes, webbing straps, and a stuff sack. Hennessy Hammock brand has a history with Scouting, including Leave No Trace education efforts at national and world jamborees.

RUNNERS UP: Six additional runners up will be randomly selected to win one of the following: a “Single” Grand Trunk Hammock ($55) or an ENO “SingleNest” Hammock ($55). Plus, runners up will also receive a copy of The Ultimate Hang. These hammocks are great for first-timers; they’re lightweight, made from parachute nylon, and pack away in a small carrying bag. (They’re tarp- and netting-compatible, but do not include the additional gear.)
