GRAND PRIZE: There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won, consisting of Free Shell Gasoline for One (1) year for the Grand Prize winner. Approximate retail value of Free Shell Gasoline for one (1) person for one (1) year is $2,250.00 (USD).
Grand Prize is calculated on the average consumer’s yearly gasoline consumption of six hundred and thirty-six (636) gallons (4.5 fuel purchases per month multiplied by 11.77 gallons of gasoline per purchase multiplied by twelve (12) months) per year and at the present-day $3.472 (US) per gallon (consistent with the U.S Department of Energy statistics for regular grade gasoline as of August 18, 2014). Fluctuations in gasoline prices after August 18, 2014 will not affect the calculation of the Grand Prize amount. Grand Prize will be rounded up to the next fifty dollars and be awarded in the form of fifty (50) $50.00 (USD) Shell Gift Cards which may be used for the purchase of gasoline at Shell gas stations. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $2,250.00 (USD).
REWARDS: There are one thousand three hundred and forty four (1,344) Rewards, one hundred and sixty eight (168) per Reward Period, each consisting of a Rollback of $0.60/gallon up to 20 gallons, to the winners Fuel Rewards Network™ account for one (1) time usage. Approximate retail value of one (1) Reward is up to $12.00 (USD) based on use for a 20 gallon fill up.
Maximum Reward value is calculated based on an average gas price of $3.472/gallon according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gage Report on August 18, 2014. The actual total value of one (1) Reward is dependent upon the current price of gasoline at the time of the fill-up and the number of gallons filled at a time. In order to redeem the Reward, the Reward winner must insert their Fuel Rewards Network™ card at the Shell fuel station pump or present their Fuel Rewards Network ™ card to the Shell fuel station cashier prior to filling their vehicle with fuel. Once the Fuel Rewards Network ™ card is inserted into the pump or presented to the cashier, the price per gallon will be decreased by $0.60/gallon. Fuel savings are limited to 20 gallons of fuel per purchase, per vehicle, or fraud limits placed by Shell and/or limits placed on your payment card by your financial institution, each of which can be lower. Dispenser may require a price of up to 10.9 cents per gallon.
