The five entries in each entry category (photo entries, video entries, and essay entries) with the most votes from the public will be designated as “Finalists” and will advance to the final review by the judges.
JUDGING PERIOD: The Judging Period begins at 12:01 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) on September 10, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) on September 14, 2012.
Contest entrants can increase the value of the contest prize by contributing more topic appropriate media into the contest by submitting photos, videos, or essays describing their Best Road Trip Ever. Entry contributions are accrued at the following rates:
• For each photo submitted via the Contest photo entry page the entrant contributes five miles to the prize value.
• For each essay submitted via the Content essay entry page the entrant contributes ten miles to the prize value.
• For each video submitted via the Contest video entry page the entrant contributes 15 miles to the prize value.
PRIZE: One Ford automobile with an estimated retail-value of up to thirty thousand U.S. Dollars ($30,000) but no less than $13,000.
