Legal residents of the KNBC, WNBC, KNTV, KNSD, WRC, WCAU, WVIT, WTVJ, WMAQ, and KXAS viewing area who are 18 or older and the age of majority in their state of residence.
PRIZES: There will be a total of ten (10) prizes (“Prizes”) awarded: nine (9) first prizes (each a “First Prize”, collectively “First Prizes”), with one (1) First Prize awarded to each First Prize Winner who is not the Grand Prize Winner, and one (1) grand prize (“Grand Prize”) awarded to the one (1) Grand Prize Winner randomly selected from the ten (10) First Prize Winners.
First Prizes: Each First Prize will consist of a trip to Los Angeles, CA (“FP Trip”), for each First Prize Winner who is not the Grand Prize Winner and up to one (1) guest (“FP Guest”). Each FP Trip consists of the following: round-trip, coach-class air travel for First Prize Winner and FP Guest from a major commercial airport near First Prize Winner’s residence to an airport in or near Los Angeles, CA (“Los Angeles Airport”) (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion); accommodations for First Prize Winner and FP Guest (single room/double occupancy) for two (2) nights at a hotel in or near the Los Angeles area (“Hotel”) (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion); the opportunity for First Prize Winner and FP Guest to attend a live taping (“Taping”) of a “Battle Round” episode (“Episode”) of the NBC television show The Voice (“Show”), currently scheduled to take place at NBC Universal, 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608 round-trip ground transportation to and from Los Angeles Airport and Hotel; and round-trip ground transportation to and from Taping of Episode and Hotel. Sponsors have the right in their sole discretion to substitute ground transportation for air transportation for First Prize Winners from the KNBC and KNSD Local Geographic Areas. Each FP Guest must be sixteen (16) years of age or older as of the first date of travel.
Grand Prize: There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded to Grand Prize Winner. In lieu of the First Prize (as described above), the Grand Prize Winner shall instead receive the Grand Prize, which consists of a trip to Los Angeles, CA (“GP Trip”), for Grand Prize Winner and up to one (1) guest (“GP Guest”). GP Trip consists of the following: round-trip, coach-class air travel for Grand Prize Winner and GP Guest from a major commercial airport near Grand Prize Winner’s residence to an airport in or near Los Angeles, CA (“Los Angeles Airport”) (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion); accommodations for Grand Prize Winner and GP Guest (single room/double occupancy) for two (2) nights at a hotel in or near the Los Angeles area (“Hotel”) (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion); the opportunity for Grand Prize Winner and GP Guest to attend a live Taping of a Season Finale currently scheduled to take place on May 21, 2014 (“Finale”) (date subject to change and/or cancellation) of the NBC television show The Voice (“Show”), currently scheduled to take place at NBC Universal, 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608; round-trip ground transportation to and from Los Angeles Airport and Hotel; and round-trip ground transportation to and from Taping of Finale and Hotel. If Grand Prize Winner is from the KNBC or KNSD Local Geographic Area, Sponsors have the right in their sole discretion to substitute ground transportation FOR AIR TRANSPORTATION. Each GP Guest must be sixteen (16) years of age or older as of the first date of travel.
FP Guests and GP Guest will individually be referred to herein as “Guest” and collectively as “Guests”.
EACH WINNER AND GUEST MUST BE ABLE TO DEPART FROM AND RETURN TO HIS/HER LOCAL GEOGRAPHIC VIEWING AREA ON DATES AND TIMES AS DETERMINED BY SPONSORS IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION, OR SUCH WINNER WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND, TIME PERMITTING, AN ALTERNATE FIRST PRIZE WINNER MAY BE SELECTED FROM THE REMAINING ELIGIBLE ENTRIES RECEIVED FROM THE CORRESPONDING LOCAL GEOGRAPHIC VIEWING AREA, AND/OR AN ALTERNATE GRAND PRIZE WINNER MAY BE SELECTED FROM AMONG ALL REMAINING ELIGIBLE potential first prize winners, AT SPONSORS’ SOLE DISCRETION. All details of Taping, including but not limited to the date and time, will be subject to availability and Sponsors’ sole discretion. Winners and Guests must be able to attend Taping on date and time chosen by Sponsors, or Prizes will be forfeited.
The Estimated Retail Value (“ERV”) of each Prize is two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500). For the sake of clarity, this ERV does not include the value of the Finale or the Episode taping.
