All summer swarm weekly photo challenges will be revealed at jacksummerswarm.com on Wednesday May 27th at 9:00 am EDT. All entries must be transmitted and received by the below deadlines to be eligible for that week’s judging:
Challenge #1: Take it Outside – Sunday, June 7th 11:59 pm EDT
Challenge #2: Jump Shot – Sunday, June 14th 11:59 pm EDT
Challenge #3: Do It Your Selfie – Sunday, June 21st 11:59 pm EDT
Challenge #4: Beach, Please – Sunday, June 28th 11:59 pm EDT
Challenge #5: Fest Life – Sunday, July 5th 11:59 pm EDT
Challenge #6: Stars and Stripes – Monday, July 13th 11:59 pm EDT
Participants are encouraged to complete their Summer Swarm Album by submitting at least one (1) photo to each challenge in order to improve their consideration for the Grand Prize Album Contest (see GRAND PRIZE ALBUM CONTEST detailsin rules).
Weekly Photo Challenge Contest entries will be reviewed and those that are determined Eligible Photo entries will be placed on the Summer Swarm Photo Gallery at www.jacksummers
The Weekly Photo Challenge Contest will be conducted and judged on a weekly basis by a panel of judges selected by Sponsor. The Judges will score all Weekly Entries (photo and caption) based on the following criteria:
25% Creativity – of the photo and its representation of that week’s challenge
50% Uniqueness – of the photo and its representation of that week’s challenge
25% Total number of Votes received (number of votes)
The judging criteria (“Criteria”) are to be applied in the sole discretion of the Sponsors and the individual judges. Judges will determine the one (1) First Place Weekly Photo Challenge Winner and the four (4) Runner Up Weekly Photo Challenge Winners.
PRIZE STRUCTURE: There will be a total of thirty one (31) prizes awarded. The prizes will be awarded as follows:
WEEKLY CHALLENGE CONTEST PRIZE:
There will be one (1) First Place Weekly Challenge Contest prize awarded each week for a total of six (6) First Place Weekly Challenge Contest Prize Winners. Additionally there will be four (4) Runner Up Weekly Challenge prizes awarded each week for a total of twenty four (24) Runner Up Weekly Challenge Prize Winners. The one (1) First Place Weekly Challenge Contest prize consists of one (1) Action Camera (value: $199.00). The four (4) Runner Up Weekly Challenge prize consists of one (1) Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Selfie Stick and one (1) Battery Charger (value: $28.50). Weekly Challenge Contest winners and runner-ups in weeks 1-5 are eligible to win in successive weeks and are eligible for the Grand Prize Contest.
The potential winner(s) of the Weekly Challenge Contest Prize will be judged and selected on each Monday following each week’s eligibility period (exception – week 6 judging will take place on Tuesday, July 14th).
GRAND PRIZE CONTEST PRIZE:
(1 Grand Prize): There will be one (1) Photo Contest Grand Prize awarded. The Photo Contest Grand Prize consists of the following:
Two (2) three-day Platinum Passes to the 2016 Lollapalooza Festival August 5th, 6th and 7th 2016.
Coach Class Airfare for winner and guest from nearest commercial airport to winner’s home address to either Midway International Airport or O’Hare International Airport.
Hotel accommodation for winner and guest in double occupancy, standard room for four (4) nights (August 5 – August 7, 2016)
Gift card in the amount of $500.00
