# Free RingPlus cell phone service

You’ll need a sprint model phone to get this free plan, you can check the compatibility [at this link](https://my.ringplus.net/device_validation_requests/new). Also, there are some rules that you’ll have to follow that are[ listed here](http://discourse.ringplus.net/t/2014-free-plan-rules-of-the-road-updated-2-7/824) to keep the service. –**Update**– Sorry about having the wrong date listed, it’s March 28
