Full Prize Details:

“We Are What We Watch” Poster Ad for Honker Home Video

Original 80’s promotional poster for Frank Zappa’s movie company, Honker Home Video. Measures 23.5” x 34.5”. Contains “The Theory Of No-D” an anti-censorship statement from Mr. Honker, himself. Zappa wears the No-D Glasses in the poster image.

3 Honker Home Video Pencils

Original vintage pencils from the office of Frank Zappa and Honker Home Video. Text on the pencils reads:

It’s A Honker – Honker Home Video

Box 16628 N. Hollywood, CA 91615

(Zappa Hotline 818-PUMPKIN)

1 strip of variety FZ stickers (3)

So many stickers, so few worthy surfaces! This strip of three has Zappa For President, DOPE You Are What You Use, and FZ portrait stickers.

Carnegie Hall reproduced tickets

These tickets were printed in 2011 for inclusion in the long-awaited album release of Zappa’s October 11, 1971 Carnegie Hall performance. They’ve never been sold separately, and only one came in each album box.

“Frank Zappa” speech bubble stickers (2)

From the inception of his discography, the “speech bubble” motif has been part of Zappa’s Conceptual Continuity. The bubble often (but not always) indicates the voice of FZ. In the Freak Out! artwork he famously asks, “Suzy Creamcheese, what’s got into you?” We’ll never know.

Pink Backstage Passes (2)

Finally, your backstage pass for a Zappa show! These are real, unused backstage passes from Zappa’s 1984 Them Or Us Tour that have been housed in official Zappa storage for a nearly unbelievable 40 years. Crazy, but true! Win and frame these immediately.

Small stack No-D glasses Honker Home Video sheets (2)

“Honker No-D Glasses provide opaque cardboard protection for viewers who fear exposure to unexpectedly mind-boggling theoretical concepts. For the deranged few who feel that censorship is a good idea, Honker provides No-D Glasses so they can do it to themselves.” – Frank Zappa (excerpted description)

Freak Out! Guitar Picks + Tin (1)

Those with the propensity to shut up ‘n play their guitars will quite enjoy this set of six medium thickness Dunlop guitar picks with images of early Zappa album covers – all housed in a sliding-top tin. Perfect for the gig bag or anywhere picks are stashed.

“Honker If You Love Home Video” Bumper Sticker (1)

One of the few remaining stickers from Zappa’s ‘80s independent movie company. Displaying this is like a beacon drawing others with Zappatites closer to your own derangement.

“Freak Out Hot Spots!” Map (1)

Designed, drawn, and depicted by Frank Zappa in 1966, this map “shows how to get to Canters, Ben Frank’s, Fred C. Dobbs, The Trip, The Whisky A-Go-Go, The Brave New World, It’s Boss, Bido Lito’s, and many more interesting places. Also shows where the heat has been busting frequently, with tips on safety in police-terror situations.”

MOFO: The Making Of Freak Out! Project/Object An FZ Audio Documentary (4CD)

Firmly out of print! This 4-disc set was originally released mid-2006 for the 40th Anniversary of Freak Out! Contains outtakes and vault elements from the seminal first album from The Mothers Of Invention.
