CREATIVE ASSIGNMENT:
\n\u00a0The creative assignment for the Contest (“Creative Assignment”) is as follows:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Review the assets provided in the Toolkit on the Web Site.
\n\u00a0Get together your idea for a DORITOS\u00ae brand Super Bowl XLVI commercial. Make it action-packed. Make it funny. Make it something you\u2019ve never seen before. It\u2019s up to you. Just make it awesome.
\n\u00a0Create and submit a 30-second spot featuring DORITOS\u00ae brand tortilla chips.
\n\u00a0Your Submission should be in commercial form consistent with these Official Rules.<\/p>\n

\u00a0JUDGING REQUIREMENTS:
\n\u00a0Judging Criteria (“Judging Criteria”) is as follows:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Originality and Creativity – 40%
\n\u00a0Adherence to Creative Assignment – 30%
\n\u00a0Overall Appeal – 30%<\/p>\n

\u00a0TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Video file must be submitted \u2013 the Video file(s) must be exactly 30 seconds in length (all copyrighted material will be removed)
\n\u00a0The video file size should be kept at or under 100 MB for quicker upload\/encoding time (Finalists may be asked to provide higher resolution files)
\n\u00a0Video files must be provided in one of the following file formats: .MPEG; .MOV; .AVI; .WMV<\/p>\n

 
\n\u00a0For all video submissions shot in 16:9 aspect ratio, they should be center cut protected. Finalists may be asked to provide the original audio and video files used during production of the entry for broadcast purposes. This may include uncompressed QuickTime files, final audio mix and\/or separate audio tracks for dialogue, music, and effects. These items are not mandatory to become a Finalist.
\n\u00a0ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Submission must be primarily in English.
\n\u00a0All submissions must be received by 11:59:59 pm CT on November 21, 2011.
\n\u00a0The person obtaining the Contest ID and uploading the Submission will be deemed the entrant (\u201cEntrant\u201d). The Entrant is the one (1) person who owns the email address associated with the Contest ID. If any group elects to collaborate on a Submission, they are required to designate one (1) person as the agent of the group to enter the Contest, agree to these rules and accept the prize on behalf of the group. Neither Sponsor nor any of the Contest Parties are liable for any disputes between collaborators arising under or related to the Contest.
\n\u00a0Each individual Entrant is allowed a total of ten (10) Submissions.
\n\u00a0Limit one (1) Finalist Prize per person, household and\/or email address throughout the Contest Period.<\/p>\n

\u00a0PRIZE DETAILS:
\n\u00a0FIVE (5) FINALIST PRIZES:Each finalist prize (\u201cFinalist Prize\u201d) consists of $25,000 (awarded in the form of a wire transfer or check, payable to Finalist) and a trip for the verified Finalist and one (1) eligible guest (\u201cFinalist\u2019s Guest\u201d) to attend the Super Bowl XLVI game (\u201cGame\u201d) scheduled to occur on February 5, 2012 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation for Finalist and Finalist\u2019s Guest from a major gateway airport near Finalist\u2019s residence within the U.S.; five (5) nights double-occupancy hotel accommodations in Indiana, Indianapolis; two (2) tickets to the Game; and ground transportation to\/from airport\/hotel. Travel dates: February 1, 2012 \u2013 February 6, 2012.Approximate retail value (\u201cARV\u201d) of each Finalist Prize is $31,000.<\/p>\n

\u00a0ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE CONTINGENT BONUS: The one (1) Grand Prize Winner’s Submission will be aired during the Super Bowl XLVI broadcast. There is no monetary value associated with the Grand Prize, however, in the event that the Grand Prize winner\u2019s commercial is awarded one (1) of the top three (3) spots (including ties) according to the USA TODAY Ad Meter rankings, Grand Prize Winner will receive a bonus of $1,000,000 for the #1 spot, $600,000 for the #2 spot and $400,000 for the #3 spot. The USA TODAY Super Bowl Ad Meter tracks the second-by-second responses of a panel of viewers to ads during the national broadcast of the Super Bowl and ranks them favorite to least favorite. Created in 1989, USA TODAY\u2019s Ad Meter has been regarded as the most influential Super Bowl ad rating in the advertising industry. Criteria for the USA TODAY Ad Meter is determined solely by USA TODAY, which is not affiliated with this Contest in any way. .<\/p>\n

\u00a0ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE OPTIONAL CONSULTING OPPORTUNITY: The one (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the option to consult with the Hollywood Professional and\/or the Hollywood Professional\u2019s associates on an offsite, part-time independent contractor basis to assist in the creation of an additional :30 second commercial for the DORITOS\u00ae brand (the \u201cExtra Commercial\u201d). Grand Prize Winner shall have input into writing, production, casting, shoot location and direction of the Extra Commercial, in cooperation with the Hollywood Professional and subject to Sponsor’s ultimate approval of all aspects of the Extra Commercial, including the production budget. The Consulting Opportunity period will begin sometime after Super Bowl XLVI and must be completed prior to December 31, 2012, subject to Hollywood Professional\u2019s availability and Sponsor’s discretion (the “Consulting Opportunity\u201d). If the Grand Prize Winner opts to accept the Consulting Opportunity, the Grand Prize Winner will receive a fee in the amount of $50,000 (payable to winner in the form of a check or wire transfer) in consideration of the Consulting Opportunity.
