Submit an original small plate recipe that can be prepared in 60 minutes or less on a gas grill (with a burner), uses at least one DOLE Product and up to ten additional ingredients (salt, pepper, water and oil or butter used for cooking, and cooking spray do not count as an ingredient).<\/p>\n

The Round One Judges will judge and rate each Recipe according to the following Criteria:
\n(1) Best Use of DOLE\u00ae Product(s) – 30%, (2) Flavor and Taste \u2013 25%, and (3) Creativity \u2013 15%, (4) Presentation \u2013 15%, (5) Ease of Preparation \u2013 15%<\/p>\n

The 2014 DOLE California Cook-Off winner receives a $25,000 cash prize in addition to 4 days & 3 nights in Santa Monica.CA<\/p>\n

SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE: The Sweepstakes Winner will win a Trip to attend and judge the
\n\u201cCalifornia Cook-Off\u201d in Los Angeles, California on the designated California Cook-off Date. The
\nTrip shall consist of a four (4) day\/three (3) night trip coach-class air transportation from the
\ngateway airport closest to Sweepstakes Winner\u2019s home to Los Angeles, California on the dates
\ndesignated by Sponsor; four (4) days\/three (3) nights four star hotel accommodations (standard
\nroom\/single occupancy); a mid-size rental car; and One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) spending
\nmoney. In order to be eligible for the rental car, the Sweepstakes Winner must meet all of the
\nrental car company\u2019s requirements. If s\/he does not so qualify for the rental car, Sponsor may
\nelect, in its sole discretion, to arrange other means of ground transportation. If the Sweepstakes
\nWinner lives within two hundred fifty (250) miles from the metropolitan Los Angeles, California
\narea, Sponsor may elect to provide the Sweepstakes Winner with ground transportation to the
\nhotel. ARV of the Trip is $4,000.00<\/p>\n
