It looks silver in the picture but it is as white as white can be.

I think another person scan pics here too because sometimes the colors are off. Did Your digital camera not come with an usb cable to upload pics?

actually I scan cause it is quicker… I have a digital camera but I don’t like keeping it hooked up to the comp. and the printer is already hooked, just sit hit a button and done.

Oh and most of the items I scan turn out just fine on the color, I believe this looks silver because it is so white it reflects off the scanner bed.
