our target will not accept $1 coupon for an item that is less than that in price. I would be stopped if item cost 97 cents. bummer.

Print out the Target coupon policey off thier website. They are to put the price of the item in not the whole coupon if its under the coupon price. Such as type 97 cent manfactuer coupon rather than scan the $1. I’m a former target cashier. If they refuse ask to speak to the store manager. Its THIER coupon or a coupon from the manafactor. your not cheating anybody using it. If they lie and say they aren’t making any money from it thats 100% not true.
