    Hi Chris!

    I have been having problems at my Target with them thinking that I can’t use my $1.00 off coupon for example for a $0.97 product because the coupon value exceeds the item value. They didn’t let me use my $2.00 off nail filers which were $1.97. I didn’t have my coupon policy with me that day so I couldn’t even show them that their policy allows for coupons to be ajusted.

    Did you ever have that problem? Do you just show them thei coupon policy and get the items for free? I am asking because the policy says “may” be adjusted. Does that mean it always is? :dunno:

    It really depends on your cashier. The target store coupons should automatically adjust, but that doesn’t mean they always do. There isn’t much you can do except to have their policy on you and hope you get a decent cashier :hs:

    I have purchased the “free” beauty tools several times in the past month. Never had a problem. The register seems to automatically adjust the price. They have never even questioned it. Ask them to scan the coupon and I bet the register will take care of the overage.

    They are suppose to just scan the coupon without asking…..the register will know its self to reject if it is unable to use…..
