OMG franziska, I really feel for you. They can be so difficult to deal with. You’re probably in enough pain without having to fight with them. Most people can’t work, so Soc Sec tries to starve them out with no income. I know someone who was approved after five years. Appeal immediately, and get an attorney (they have a set fee that is very reasonable….quite unusual).

Thanks for the advice and support. I already called and set up an appointment with them to talk about appealing it, and now I’m gathering all my doctor and hospital records as we speak. But the attorney thing I didn’t think of… thanks

Little more information I found out
This code is good for 20 Swag Bucks until 12:20PM PST
then it’ll be good for 15 Swag Bucks until 12:50PM PST
and then good for 10 Swag Bucks until 1:30PM PST
