Well heading to bed. Thought I’d fill you guys in before I did. My mind is everywhere right now, too much info going at me today, lol.
Anyway, I got that temporary position!
I get my options tomorrow I was told, probably the pay increase too. I trade one of my days off for a different day, it will be so strange being home on a saturday, lol. At least I don’t have to give up part of my days off to go the chiro next week either. :smile: The position will only be about a week though, cause my supervisor is supposed to be back on the 24th.

I’m disabling the “threaded comments” function overnight to see if it has any effect on the server. I dont think it will, but we’ll see in the morning. I’ll turn it back on then.

Thanks for your reply. I’m very sorry to have upset you and would like to offer a little more detail.
The Party Hearty Patrol is a program we have been offering since our company’s inception about 18 months ago. It’s a pretty special group – they receive samples, recipes and other collateral material in exchange for answering some questions for us and helping us spread the word about our great products. As a small startup company with very limited budgets, word-of-mouth is critical for us in helping build our business, since we can’t afford expensive mass-media ad campaigns and such.
Unfortunately the information on our website, intended to be seen by people genuinely interested in our company and products, was posted up on a ‘freebie’ site (hence the ‘unauthorized’ distribution) and resulted in an avalanche of requests to join the party hearty patrol. Having no way to know which requests were people actually interested in joining our team and building a relationship with us and which ones were people just looking for free chips, we unfortunately had to make the unpleasant and unfortunate decision to not fulfill any of the requests until further notice. As I mentioned, our budgets are tiny and this program is not a small expense for us – so it’s important that we know that each person signing up for the Party Hearty Patrol is someone we can count on.
To be completely honest, this was a sad decision to make, as we have built up some great relationships with people over the last year and a half through this program, in a genuine way and with real results for them and their families as well as our business.
I do appreciate you writing in to tell us how you feel and I hope this explanation goes a little way to explain why we did what we did. Please feel free to let me know if not. I hope that someday you might consider giving us another shot but if not I certainly understand and respect your decision.

Ok, so I sent 2 complimentary emails to Hormel & to Cracker Barrel… I told them how much I love their products etc, asked for coupons & they both said they don’t give coupons.. damn them! lol

If you want to try REALLY good clove cigarettes then I definitely recommend Nat Shermans “A Touch Of Cloves” Cigarettes. They are Hand Made Luxury Cigarettes. I think that they are made in NY. They are the BEST Cigarettes and each of those cigarettes appear to last (at least when I smoked them) 10 – 18 minutes.
