I’ve done a bunch of these cigarette freebies before because they are really reliable and they give out some great stuff. I’ve never been a smoker though. It’s a pretty cool towel that you can get :wiggle:

spoke with a parliment representative a few months ago after the lighter offer expired. They already know the last 4 numbers. They use a database of all liscensed drivers for verification of the age of the person…in order to avoid major lawsuits that would arise for servicing underaged people. congress is very strict in their guidelines for the tobacco industry. They just want to make sure that someone underage is not using their uncle’s name, address, and birthdate to obtain anything smoking related :)

Just wanted to tell you, Lowes is my hubby’s second home, he’s remodeling our bath, and lives there. luckily I can beg off sometimes and not have to go with him.

You should see some of the stuff my husband brings home. It’s good stuff and usually he gets it for a good clearance price but our garage is overrun with stuff that never gets used. Of course I guess the generator could always come in handy if a hurricaine should come close enough, and it’s always a possibility so I shouldn’t complain too much. Plus, sometimes I can go gift shopping in my own garage.

Where are you? We are at the beach in SC, and have to worry about the hurricanes also and stock up on water etc, and form our escape plan.

I live in Texas between Houston and Galvaston. Rita came closer than anything I remember. The eye actually went through my hometown a little closer to the Texas/Louisiana border. It tore a lot up around there and we’re only about 1 1/2 – 2 hours to the east. I remember evactating a lot as a kid but not as far as for Rita, we ended up in Dallas for about 5 days. Actaully my parents got hit again this year by Humberto, not near as bad as Rita but that one just snuck up. I think it formed and hit within something like 24 hours, very strange. I try to stay prepared, much better to be safe than sorry.

I got on a mailing list from Parliament about 10 years ago and have no idea how I got there. I got the most KEWL things imaginable! A nice pair of sunglasses (which I gave to my bro since he doesn’t wear glasses) a waterproof case (for cigarettes but you could use for other stuff I suppose) when fishing or boating because it floated, and a SUPER beach towel! It was so huge and such nice quality I used it as a bath towel instead and I STILL use it today, and it’s not even frayed or worn! Let’s hope this one is nice like that :h5:

So, do they get to celebrate 2 days?? The 28th & March 1st?? hmm.. interesting

    Reply

    froggiehowe replied on March 3rd, 2008 :

Depends, I know a person who celebrates once every 4 years and another person who has a huge bash every 4 years but every year celebrates on the 28th and the 1st, it just depends on the person. My hubby was watch the CBS Morning show on the internet and they had a couple that the wife’s b-day was on the 29th and she was pregnant and was due on the 29th so to ensure the would deliver on that date they were going to induce. It was rare because the Mother and the daughter were to have the same b-day of the 29th of Feb.

    Reply

    froggiehowe replied on March 3rd, 2008 :

We had a few ppl that were due with two weeks that as you know, anything after 38 weeks is safe to induce and they wanted a Feb 29th baby so we either did C-secs or induced. I wouldn’t want the extra pain but it is a very unique day and something for the kid to speak about, especially if you’re going to give the kid a unique name to go with the date. :pat: :wiggle:

Women in general think that after obtaining parenthood, exercising is not their cup of tea. But this myth is baseless. There are so many weight loss plans for new mothers in the market today. Usually women gain weight during pregnancy and start worrying soon after the childbirth but they don’t need to worry at all as plenty of fitness plans designed for them.

It is true that previous plans may not work properly for them due to which they give up at times. There are various exercises namely cardio, breathing exercise, strength training and running.
