We have other mexican places here that aren’t “chains” and they are super yummy!
**Jenzz…My B&N order was one of the really cheap bargin bin books and then the shipping charge to my home was around $3, so it came out that I owed the $.88. I thought the shipping cost was high, but with the price of gas, I guess I can understand. Hey Chris, any freebies for petro????

Thanks A.C. for the tip,,
I have never at this place before,,
there are 3 in my area,,
I might try it,,
I personally favor the non/chain real Mexican places,, there are some around me in the smaller towns that are so so good,, fresh food,, and super service,,,

I agree, authentic is by far the best-I love home made tamales…….mild for me though-
(too bad they’re cooked in lard….but, that’s what makes ‘em so yummy) We have several where I live, very lucky-even homemade chips and salsa, they’re still warm when they serve them b4 dinner-YUM!

tracy: not quite sure how to spell them…sopopias?…anyway, a special treat at the end of the meal.

Mmmm On the Border!!! I love to eat the grilled chicken and mexican rice and a nice grande sized strawberry margarita!! Those are to die for! Too bad I’m pregnant right now or else it would be on! 2 more months and then I think it is celebration time at On the Border!

And all this time I thought that Taco Bell was Mexican.
Thank you for the samples.

Strawberrygal-I’m not sure on the spelling either, but, I love them too! They are soooo good. I was told the name means “little pillows” I love to pour honey and a little butter inside of them warm to eat them-I’m getting hungry! Those are too good!

Yes Chris-I was wondering how the whole “british” thing came into this as well. That’s gotta be it, I think it was Kathi, she must’ve thought England, instead of “New England” No biggie, but, was kinda cute though!
