They cancelled my order, and when I called them they told me this offer was only for a order of 50 dollars or more. They almost did not give me back my money I spent on shipping when I called them they said it was clear on their site they had a minimum order.

This was so cool! I couldn’t get free shipping living in Alaska, they wanted to charge something like $17.00 for shipping! so I sent a geographical sticker set to a friend with a first grader who loves geography, & used the 2nd link that Brad put up to send the same friend the stainless pizza cutter. She lives in Colorado & happened to call right after I sent the stuff & said that she doesn’t have a pizza cutter so that worked out well. Thanks!

I think I figured out why it cancelled my order…. If you use the same credit card more than once, it cancels all previous orders and only leaves last one. Even if you use different names and/or emails. Must be a one per credit card thingy.. Guess thats what I get for being greedy lol Oh well, I still get something free so I cant complain

I just went back to the CSN Store website and found the following disclaimer which allows the CSN Store to legally cancel ANY order for ANY reason. Not a very consumer-friendly policy!!
**I cannot find anything about any promotion discussing $15 off a $50 purchase sent to a friend. The promotion still just states $15 credit when you apply for the CSN rewards program.

I sent an e-mail complaint to the Public Relations office at CNS stores. I think everyone should do the same. The promotion was to get new customers to look at their website and to order items. Well, we all spent a lot of time looking at their website and we all ordered something. I certainly planned on purchasing more at a later date.
Now that all of these “potential new customers” have had their orders cancelled, I expect that none will ever purchase from CNS Stores again. In fact, I expect that there will be a lot of negative advertisement about CNS Stores from this false and misleading promotion. I intend to tell my friends & family not to use the CNS Stores website. I also intend to notify the Better Business Bureau.
No one here at Free Stuff Forum did anything wrong by responding to the advertised promotion on the CVS Stores website. That was the intent of CVS Stores all along.

I just finished my order over the phone for the pet bed on clearance for $16.15 and free shipping. So with my $15 code I only owed them $1.15. They did not say anything about having to spend at least $50. They were very nice and said my order would be delivered this coming Monday. So go ahead and order if you gotten a code. I think it’ll be okay.

This is no different from the Omaha Steak thing from last year. A lot of it is in the luck to get in before they realize their mistake and to not abuse it and get more than one. I don’t have problems with people that sign up for more than one sample or have a sample or something like this sent to a 2nd address, but it’s abuse to this type of freebies that tend to ruin it for people.

I was looking at my account on CSN this morning and the status of my order said “Order in Progress” or something to that affect and now it says “Order is at warehouse”. I don’t know if that means if went through or not. We’ll see.

Same here. I guess order at warehouse means that they’re in the process if getting it out to you. They wouldn’t waste their time sending it to the warehouse just to cancel it.
Order being processed may still be canceled because someone has to go in and look and give the ok to forward it to the warehouse. I hope.

It seems to me that yes this created a lot of hype, which is good for CSN’s business… however I do think that if people had been content with their one $15 credit, they would have let all orders go through. If you try to outsmart the system, you will be caught eventually. I don’t think any business appreciates someone trying to be sneaky. Be content with getting anything free, even if it’s only one thing.

Totally agree with that and of course they will find out and then the few that get greedy ruin for those people that could really use it and the ones that follow the rules and just get the one item. I got my code last nite early in the evening but i didnt use it till this morning it says it is at the warehouse but I am sure it is going to be cancelled like everyone else;s even though i didnt do nothing sneaky or greedy

Everyone can’t use ‘recession’ for a reason of abusing things like this. I am sorry if it sounds harsh to you. I go through rough times too, but am HAPPY to get that one free item I would not have otherwise gotten. I do it too when it comes to good things and get more than my share YES I do. So, I am not oblivious to abusing things like this. But this one I didn’t and they canceled my sis in laws for NO reason. And, it is due to the fact so many are using up the referral codes that were available for one household rather than one per household. So, it can let others going through a recession period do without at all. Instead of everyone talking about how bad times are think of those who WILL not ARE not getting anything from this promotion and really could have used it for their child for Christmas. Very sad! I am happy I only did it my one time. So, it is due in part to abuse and part to the company for not upholding what they sent out. Shady shady company and I was going to buy more but will not now!
Just got an email from them today. It stated, We have had to cancel your order using the CSN Rewards promotional code. Please note the following Terms and Conditions:
“Referrer credit may only be redeemed on orders over $50, one per household.”
I only used it once and bought one item, and when they sent me the promotion code it didn’t state anything about a min. of $50 it didn’t even have the terms & condition policy in that email.. this sucks! It was my dad’s b-day gift, guess I’m gonna have to get him something else.

Dont be sorry…if that was the reason they wouldve only cancelled people with duplicate orders…I just think they had a certain amount of ‘gifts’ and when they ran out they cancelled the rest…besides…people on this website were not the only ones going for this

Don’t feel bad! We all do it. I will be the first to admit it! Now I did not on this one, but have on others.
I think it was in part to abuse and part just the company or the items ordered. I noticed many items went through like the retro clock or game board but many others did not. So, they may have just decided to cancel all items but select ones. Yo0u never know with things like this. But don’t beat yourself up and don’t apologize because we ALL have at one time or another abused a good deal like this.

I got an email saying it was shipped and then today I got an email saying it was cancelled either way I’m callin and complaining. I never go anything that said anything about a $50 order.
