Well the manager at the service desk read the coupon and said I could use it for both, so I did.

I got both kinds by rayovac, even asked at the customer service desk before checking out and the coupons worked on the 2 pack(blue) and 4 pack(red)

Yep, Target had these at the dollar corner, a two-pack for $1. Coupon scanned without a problem. Make sure you get the alkaline batteries in the 2pack (they also have different ones from Rayovac in a 4pack). Awesome!
