Prizes and Approximate Retail Values (ARV’s): Grand Prize (1): A 7-day/6-night trip for the winner and one (1) travel companion to a Sponsor selected destination in the Nantucket, MA area for the opportunity to spend one night minimum and three nights maximum on the M/V OCEARCH observing the OCEARCH team on a Shark Tagging Expedition. Trip includes round trip coach class air transportation from major airport closest to winner’s home to destination city, a minimum of three (3) nights hotel accommodations (based on double occupancy) in the Nantucket, MA area, the opportunity to meet some of the crew of the M/V OCEARCH; observe some of the world’s top shark scientists and researchers at work; and have the opportunity to ask them select questions. Also, if a shark is tagged and released that day, the winner will have the opportunity to see a shark from a safe observing position on the ship. Prize also includes an Explorer’s Gear Pack consisting of a pair of Costa Matte Gray “Shark Skin” Sunglasses (model of sunglasses will be specified by Sponsor), a Costa duffle bag, a Costa/OCEARCH shark hat and a Costa/OCEARCH long sleeve shirt (size of shirt will be specified by Sponsor), two (2) GoPro Hero Session cameras and $500 spending money for the winner, awarded in the form of a check. The maximum ARV of the Grand Prize is $8,999.
First Prizes (100): An Explorer’s Gear Pack. The prize pack consists of the following: a pair of Costa Matte Gray “Shark Skin” Sunglasses (model of sunglasses will be specified by sponsor), a Costa duffle bag, a Costa/OCEARCH shark hat and a Costa/OCEARCH long sleeve shirt (size of shirt will be specified by Sponsor). The max ARV of each First Prize is $417.
