Entrants can then enter the Contest through the Website by [1] following the on-screen instructions on the Entry form; [2] creating a written statement (the “Essay”) that is up to one hundred and fifty (150) words that describes one of the following scenarios: (i) the longevity of your Kia vehicle ownership, (ii) a positive Kia dealership service experience, or (iii) the Kia brand loyalty in your family ((i), (ii) and (iii) are each a “Category”) that meets the requirements outlined in these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the Submission Technical & Content Requirements (defined below).
Limit: One (1) Contest Entry per person per Category (i.e., maximum of three (3) total number of Contest entries per person).
DETERMINATION OF FINALISTS AND WINNERS:
Finalist Determination: During the Judging Period identified in Section 3 above, eligible Submissions will be judged by a panel of judges chosen in Sponsor’s sole discretion (the “Judges”), and the judging of Submissions will consist of a maximum score of one hundred (100) points according to the following judging criteria (the “Judging Criteria”):
Appropriateness to category theme (fifty (50) points),
Level of Detail (thirty five (35) points), and
Clarity of Expression (fifteen (15) points).
The six (6) Finalists Submissions which receive the highest number of votes during the User Voting Period will be the potential “Grand Prize” winners for the Contest.
PRIZES: Six (6) Grand Prizes: Each Winner will receive a “Prize Trip” of a five (5) day/four (4) night trip for winner and one guest to Seoul, Korea between September 17, 2016 to September 23, 2016, to visit a Kia Motors Corporation production plant plus other Kia Motors Corporation facilities and attend a Korean culture tour. The Prize Trip includes: (i) two (2) round-trip economy/coach airline tickets for the Grand Prize winner and one (1) companion from a major commercial airport near winner’s home (selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Seoul, Korea; (ii) four (4) nights hotel accommodations (one (1) standard room based on double occupancy) at a hotel determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion in Korea; (iii) if necessary, because of the scheduling of travel to/from Korea, Sponsor may award one (1) additional night hotel accommodations (one (1) standard room based on double occupancy) at a hotel determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion in Los Angeles, California prior to or after the trip; and (iv) Sponsor will cover the cost of most meals and certain expenses for the Grand Prize winner and one (1) companion during the Prize Trip, the specifics of which are all in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion (with a value of up to $600). Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Prize Trip is: $8,550.
ARV of all prizes is $51,300.
