Contest: To enter the Contest, share your story of something that lit up your holiday in a big way in three hundred (300) words or less in the space provided. The criteria by which Contest entries will be judged is as follows:
Does your story include a simple action that makes the holidays better for everyone? 50%
Does your story inspire others to light up their own holidays? 25%
Does your story easily fit into the tradition of quality that Heineken embodies? 25%
Limit one (1) Contest entry per person.
Sweepstakes: Residents of New Jersey and Texas will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes upon submission of a Contest entry. Or, if you do not wish to submit a Contest entry, you can still enter the Sweepstakes. Although you may enter the Contest only once, you may enter the Sweepstakes as often as once per day.
Instant-Win: Residents of the District of Columbia and all states except New Jersey and Texas will automatically be entered for a chance to win an Instant-Win prize upon submission of a Contest entry. Or, if you do not wish to submit a Contest entry you can still enter the Instant-Win Program. Although you may enter the Contest only once, you may enter for a chance to instantly win a prize as often as once per day.
PRIZES:
Contest: One (1) grand prize will be awarded. Grand prize will consist of round trip coach air fare for four (4) people from the gateway airport nearest winner’s residence to New York City for the tree-lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center in 2016, hotel accommodations for two (2) nights for four (4) people—two rooms, double occupancy, $1600 spending money in the form of a gift card, and round trip transportation between the hotel and the NY area airport. Approximate retail value of grand prize: $10,000. If winner resides within one hundred (100) miles of New York City, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute ground transportation for air transportation. All travel must be completed by date determined by Sponsor, at its sole discretion, or prize will be forfeited.
