HOW TO PLAY: CREATING AND MANAGING A CREW: The Website will take Contestants through a series of web pages where they will select a captain, four (4) crew members, and a boat to make up their Crew. After creating a Crew, Contestants may subsequently add or delete members of their Crew. Contestants will not earn points during any period of time in which they do not have at a full crew (a captain, four [4] crew members and a boat). The Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, add or remove captains, crew members or boats based upon changes in the Show.
Participants may make changes to their Crews until 8:59 PM ET on the night a first run episode of the show is broadcast and such changes will be effective when made. The only time you cannot change your Crew is during and immediately after the airing of a new episode. Crew management is locked down from 9:00 PM ET until 1:00 AM ET following the first run episode of the Show, as detailed below.

6. EARNING POINTS: A Contestant may earn points in the following ways:
Five (5) Challenges per week for captains, deckhands, and boats based on general actions in the Show.
Five (5) Bonus Challenges per week based on what happens in the Show.
One (1) Bonus Question per week based on what happened in the previous week’s Show.
Earning Badges associated with specific activities.
Only one (1) Weekly Prize will be permitted per each unique e-mail address over the course of the entire Competition Period (once you have won a Weekly Prize, you are ineligible to win any other Weekly Prizes).
PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize: A three day, two night trip for two (2) to Dutch Harbor, Alaska to meet the Deadliest Catch captains and tour their boats. The prize includes of round trip coach air travel for two people from the major commercial airport closest to winner’s residence to Dutch Harbor, standard double-occupancy accommodations for duration of trip, ground transportation, and $500 spending money. Approximate Retail Value is $6,000.
Weekly Prizes: Sixteen (16) Weekly Prizes, one (1) for each week of the Competition Period, will be awarded, each consisting of Deadliest Catch merchandise from the Discovery Store such as a Stein, a mug, or a tablet case. The Approximate Retail Value for each prize is $37.50.
