My dad is so awsome becauses every day he comes home and we play basketball, football, table tennis. He also loves coooking on the grill and he also will buy us a lot of stuff but not everything. But what I love about him is that he coaches me in all of our sports. The biggest one that he coaches is wrestling because my older brother took fifth in the nation. I took top sixteen in the nation and my brother took top 22 in the nation. We were all amazed that we could do it after we lost 9 animals in a house fire from the stove got turned on by our dog. I am still amazed that he is still has got us to the finals afew days after the fire. My family has been going through some tough times, right now my dad is lying on the couch. He has a diese called shermans deise, which is like scoliosis it hurts his back. he is out of job right now, with the 500 dollars I would try to pay off the house. Dad never gives up hope and always says, that if you look to your left, and you look to your right, theres always someone worse off. During the time of my uncle’s recent death (December 10, 2008 eaarly 40’s),and his dads alztimers( i know i didn’t spell it right) he just keeps hopeing. This is why he is the best time ever.

My Dad is the greatest ever! He put his career on hold so my Mom could further hers. He has been a stay at home Dad for the past couple years, which can be kind of crazy since he is taking care of my 4 year old sister all day and she can be a real pain. Plus, he is completing his education over the computer. He comes to every football practice, all my games and helps me with my homework. I know he gets bored at home all day and has been looking for work for about a year but since the economy is junk, he is having a hard time finding work even with his new degrees. Even though he is my relative,my dad is also my best friend. He always plays with me on the weekends. He is forgiving when I say I`m sorry. We play boardgames together.
Daddy is always there for me. He protects me. He makes sure that I eat good foods. My daddy cares about my opinions and thoughts, and always tries to make me happy. He even laughs at my silly jokes.
When we play sports on the weekends, we play basketball, soccer, baseball, football, dodgeball, hockey, go swimming, go to the playground, and do even more fun things. We share our love of sports together. When there is an ad in the newspaper about a special event, he is the first one in line with me.
When it is a really rainy day, one of the things we do is play on the gametable on the patio. The other activity we do is to play on our WII. He makes it fun, even on a rainy day.

My dad is the best. He plays with me every day. On weekends, he rides bikes with me. He even teaches me how to play guitar. He has lots of time to play with me and my little brother. I don’t think the age limit for this contest should be between 6-14 years old. I told my daughter that we could enter her daddy into this Best Dad sweepstakes and we went to see the rules. It said that she had to be 6 years old. She is only four years old but she can tell me why her daddy is the best daddy in the world. I told her we couldn’t do it because you have to be 6 and her heart was absolutely broken. She really wanted to tell everyone why her daddy is the best daddy in the world. I don’t think that the age requirement should be from 6-14 years old. They should parallel it with other contest for fathers day and do different age groups, like 2-6 and 7-13, and even 14-17 years old. Just a thought to think about especially when 4 and 5 year old kids do understand things and there hearts do get broken too.
