PRIZE DESCRIPTION.There will be (1) Grand Prize winner. The prize is one (1) composite set of golf clubs that are similar to the golf clubs used by the 2009 Deutsche Bank Champion, including one (1) putter, one (1) driver, one (1) three wood, one (1) five wood, one (1) wedge, one (1) set of irons and one (1) golf bag. The composite set of golf clubs will consist of golf clubs available to retail consumers and will not reflect the custom modifications made for the event winner. The approximate retail value of the prize is $2,000.

    I believe that golf courses should not be
    lenghtened rather made tighter and place more on shot making rather than distance.For example the old baseball parks were longer and the majors brought the fenses in so that more home runs.

    I do not think that making courses longer is the answer. Not that many years ago, Doral was a punishing test for touring pros. I would have pro golfers use the old persimmon heads.Also,every tour stop would have tight fairways with U S Open style rough.

    Keep fairways soft,and narrow, rough long 8″-12.5″, greens smaller and fast!
