write an essay, in one-hundred (100) words or less (including counting words such as “I”, “a”, etc.), describing why you deserve a Forecast Fix Up from Ace Hardware and The Weather Channel (“Theme”); AND 2) a current original, unaltered digital color photo depicting the Theme (the “Photo”). Photo, essay and Registration form shall be collectively referred to hereafter as the “Entry”.
Prizes:

(1) Grand Prize: An exclusive “Ace Forecast Fix-Up” not to exceed $15,000 (the “Makeover”). Approximate Retail Value not to exceed (“ARV”) = $15,000. Makeover for the Grand Prize Winner currently scheduled to be conducted and recorded on May 15-17, 2012 and shown on The Weather Channel between May 25-26, 2012 (“Broadcast”), at the Grand Prize winner’s place of residence and surrounding area (“Broadcast”). Ace Forecast Fix-Up will consist of consultation with the Ace team to identify things that need to be fixed (ie. weatherproofing energy efficient windows, pest control, etc) and the repair of the items that need to be fixed. Consultation consists of meetings & other communication with winner regarding project, additional photographs (as necessary) prior to makeover & recommendation for makeover.

(1) First Prize: $200 Ace Hardware Gift Card. (1) Second Prize: $100 Ace Hardware Gift Card. (1) Third Prize: $50 Ace Hardware Gift Card. Gift Cards subject to certain terms & conditions set by issuer.

    i have 3 stints galbladder out i cant work on things around the house by myself. takes every thing for regular bills and medicine and doctor, i do work at aschool do need insulation for attic. thanks

    We live in a tract home everything is cheap and is not holding up under that constant rain in the Northwest. There is so much wrong with this house. My husband has not had a raise or promotion in years and I am out of work. We are unable to make any repairs on this house.

    As a chairman of a local Habitat For Humanity Build in our community the past few years,I see so much need for hard working deserving families down on their luck. We do our darndest to provide a great living experience for any deserving family the HFH afffiliate deems qualified.     MY WIFE AND I ARE DISABLED ON FIXED INCOMES. WE BOUGHT A FORECLOSURE HOME THREE YEARS AGO WITH BACKYARD MOSTLY CONCRETE. OUR SON AND NEIGHBORS HELP WITH FRONT YARD. DO TO NO EXTRA FUNDS AND LACK OF MOBILITY WE ARE UNABLE TO REMOVE CONCRETE TO DO SOMETHING IN BACKYARD FOR OUR SIX GRAND CHILDREN AND OUR USE. THANKS.
