I have a ? Hopefully someone can answer for me. Why is it so many free offers on other sites require you to fill out and sign up for credit cards? That just drives me insane. Thats one of the reasons I love this site, its not only very organized but you dont have to deal with all of those :sponsor: requirements. Thank you for updating the server, seems much quicker!

They make money off of those links. Everytime you fill it out from their site they make some money. As tempting as it is to run things like that, I’ve always emphasized quality on this site, trying to post only links to LEGIT free stuff that wont require anything like that. If I do post things like that I try to make a note about it, and they are usually pretty rare, like the buy.com deals last year. Thanks!

Yep.. you’ll notice that to get to the “free” item, the link is… links name & then site for freebie..
Chris’ site is the absolute best, he goes for quality.. and the people here are amazing!!

Thats weird, I just filled it out twice and had no problems. I changed the link a little bit, try that and let me know if it works.
Looks like my friend(who isnt diabetic) is getting a couple free meters since I just submitted the form twice to his address

it worked this time. but you have to put the right answers in to qualify for it. my dad uses diet only to control but this offer is only open to those who take insulin or use one of the other meters this company offers. so i redid it and resent the form and it was accepted!

chris has it Alek. i sent it to him so he can work his magic and then i will have a link to it to post. i use excell spreadsheets and they dont cut and paste to the forum well. hard to understand and it messes everything up. i am sure chris will get me the link when he has time.

i started a new one between yesterday and today. 24 new requests/complaints/compliments sent out .

Ok, Leigh, one to add to your books. I just sent DQ an e-mail about how upset I was that a contest I signed up for was only for people on the West Coast. I got an e-mail from that “free DQ blizzard” that Chris posted a few days ago, it said it was for West Coast only so they wouldn’t send me my coupons. I would like them to send them anyway, I know a lot of you guys live out there and I would have been happy to pay the 41 cents to send it to one of you. I will see what DQ says and let you know. I like ice cream darn it!

I am really having issues trying to post to what i got. i am going to be very unhappy if i cannot show off my goodies!! ARGHH i am terrible at this computer stuff. i am not a natural and really have to struggle to learn new things!

Ok, I just did it again and it finally went through! Also at the end it said I also qualified for a free magazine subscription to Completing the Circle. It says since my dad uses the Accu-Check Advantage system, that qualifies him for the free magazine.

I HAVE USED ACCU-CHEK FOR THE WHOLE TIME I’VE KNOWN THAT I HAVE DIABETES TWO I BELIEVE IN YOUR PRODUCT BUT MY GLUCOSE METER IS GETTING VERY OLD I’VE HAD IT FOR 13 YEARS NOW PLEASE SEND ME THE FREE METER THANK YOU
