How is everyone doing tonight? I just got back from a sale that 300 moms do every year! I’ve never been able to go before, but everyone talks about how great it is! This is the first night so you have to pay $2 to get in and the next few days are free to get in! Was super excited to go and see what goodies I could find!

    Krista replied on April 21st, 2008 :

Sorry wasn’t finished! Well, anyway, it was a total bust! It was in Amish country which is about 20 mins from the house and there were so many people!!! Aubrie found a flounder purse and Briana found a toy, I didn’t find anything! Wait I did find one shirt for Briana and that was it! The place was huge, but nothing good! A lot of ugle handmade outfits and ugly dresses too! Very upset, will never go again! :(

    Scout replied on April 21st, 2008 :

We have the same kind of sale here in Georgia twice per year. You can get AWESOME deals, especially during seller night….but we usually don’t go because of course you save more money by not shopping at all than even by getting great deals on things you could probably live without.

    judy replied on April 21st, 2008 :

:) We have that kind of sale here, twice a year! I usually sell my kid’s gently used things and I have bought many nice things too! :) I usually make anywhere from $250-$400 and all you do is tag your stuff drop it off and they work the sale for you and if you want your stuff back than you pick it up at the end of the weekend! They get 30%, but you can sell stuff for a lot more than you could sell it at a yard sale, and someone else does the selling! :h5: I miss doing this season, but I hope to do it in the fall! :fingersx:

:run: no, but Hubby’s b-day is tomorrow, and kindergarten registration is Wednesday, And God forbid the baby comes and I miss GREY”S ANATOMY! :run: I will be telling them that I can’t push until commercial! :kekeke: I LOVE that show, it is basically the only one I watch! :noes: The waiting is the hardest part! :noes:

    strawberrygal2007 replied on April 21st, 2008 :

we’ll let’s see when we can wedge having a baby into your date book…you might have to be double booked :kekeke: …but we will definitely try to work around grey’s anatomy

I love their quilts and other goods, but not their clothes! They had other clothes other than handmade stuff, it just wansn’t worth the money. I found one jean jacket from the gap I liked, but they had $15 on it! I’m sorry but I’m not going to pay that amount at a yard sale! One pair of shorts was $5 and used shoes were $8!

Krista, let me know what size the girls are in. My husbands daughter is NEVER here but people keep buying her clothes for my house anyway. I would love to see someone using them. She is 9 now, so some things might be a tad big, but I have sizes 6 and up.

    Krista replied on April 21st, 2008 :

Briana is in a 5 or 6 depends on the clothes and Aubrie is in a 3T. I would greatly appreciate them! :)
