It is so sad that about 4.4 million people got laid off so far. Walgreens will plan to layoff 1,000 workers and Macys will close 11 stores in 9 states. I hope Obama stimuls plan will work creating about 4 million jobs.
I think Macys should have reduced the adversting costs. They are crazy with all the ADS and the coupons everyday in the papers and catalogs almost every week.

gotta spend money on ads to get people to come in and buy stuff. If companys start cutting their ad budgets you’ll see less freebies as well. Cutting jobs sucks, but if they can’t afford it theres nothing else they can do

i emailed GeGenral Mill’s asking them for free samples and or coupons, this is the letter i got today from them.
