Then go here and click combine my avios and combine it with the BMI account.

on the manage my account page under “Your options” there should be a link that says “Combine My Avios”

Login to your British Airways and then go to Manage My Account. Under there you will find a link to Combine my Avios.
Worked great!
Repeat for each of your family members. Of course you’ll need to set up BMI acoounts and British Airways accounts for everyone. It is worth the effort because next you can create a Household Account under British Airways and add your family members to your account. This effectively allows you to combine Avios for your whole family!!
